Fresh Starts

In this episode, listeners are encouraged to begin a fresh new start in gardening by preparing materials for the upcoming season.

The Fresh Start includes:

-Identifying your grow zone/hardiness zone via Google Search

-Choosing vegetable type (lettuce recommended for beginning)

-Selecting seed source (Home Depot, Walmart, Botanical Interests, Baker Creek, Homestead Heart, The Rusted Garden)

-Selecting the optimal container (food-grade plastic buckets or fabric grow bags)

-Choose organic soil and coco coir

-Add sun and water
